About the Role
In this diverse, yet critical role, you will be responsible for providing all HR activities across operating businesses and providing practical daily support and HR management to managers and employees. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
HR Service Delivery to Leadership Team:
Deliver HR programs in line with business priorities
Lead and direct the HR function to support the business and deliver first-rate client service in managing employee relations, resolving conflicts and providing coaching and guidance to all employees.
Drive continuous improvement and reinforce long-term focus and grow from within talent strategy and a culture of teamwork, individual discipline and entrepreneurial mindset.
Lead and direct the HR due diligence workstream on any potential acquisition targets in the region .
Organizational Development:
Work with local leaders to ensure resourcing is aligned to the planned growth across its assets and operational businesses. Guide and support where organizational change is required.
Support the business to resource effectively, working within the global drive to recruit for potential and promote the Company's 'grow from within' strategy.
HR Operations:
HRIS: lead any development to the Global HR system (HRIS) in China for the team, provide legislative and operational perspective for China and ensure the teams are informed and using the system effectively.
Deliver a localized HRIS solution for operating platform employees.
HR Policy: Provide expert and non-routine advice and interpretation of policy, legislation, procedures and practises and ensure they comply with legislative and ethical standards
About You
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following:
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with senior management and influence decisions
Broad generalist HR background preferably with experience in a regulated, matrixed environment.
Resilient in nature with a pragmatic approach to situations
Commercially focused
Ability to work in a fluid and matrix environment
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated with high level of energy and enthusiasm, coupled with a 'can do' mentality, tenacious and entrepreneurial
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
An excellent grasp of Chinese employment legislation and its practical application
Tertiary qualified
HRIS experience in workday desirable
